Raheem Devaughn Returns with 3rd album, The Love & War Masterpeace, March 2, 2010

Raheem Devaughn is back, but not quite how many imagined his return would be. Now on the eve of the release of his third album, Raheem is raising eyebrows as he is making it very clear the focus of this album is to make a bold statement about what is going on in our country and the world. For years Raheem Devaughn has proven he has the right words to capture a woman's heart as one of the new masters of romance following a long line of successors such as Marvin Gaye. Still true to his old school soul vibe, his new single featuring Ludacris, Bulletproof, sheds light on the fact that his new upcoming album, The Love & War Masterpeace will be anything but the album you will have in rotation when snuggling up to the one you love with a night of romance in mind.

Raheem has admitted he has taken a risk with this album by stepping into territory not normally covered in his music, however he is passionate about letting his inner thoughts be known about what is going on in the world. Raheem will also be seen soon in his first film, Who Do You Love, which was shot in New Orleans. In the movie which is based in the 1940's, Raheem plays a blues singer named Andrew Tibbs.
